Businesses are paying more and more attention to their digital presence and finding effective ways to market their awesome products to the right audience every day. If we go by stats from a recent Small Business Trends survey, “By share, 49% of small business owners plan to increase staff and expand or remodel their business. 55% will pivot with the times by investing in digital marketing with 30% plan on traditional marketing”.

The competition no doubt is fierce in the market because of the ever-growing brands and different value propositions they are offering not only locally but internationally too. Where does this leave local, relatively smaller, less resourceful, and often budget sparse businesses? You might wonder!

Let’s look at the stats:

“According to statistics published in 2019 by the Small Business Administration (SBA), about twenty percent of business startups fail in the first year. About half succumb to business failure within five years. By year 10, only about 33% survive”.

But the scenario has changed post covid era where the digital world has opened a level playing field for many businesses and as long as you have relevant, engaging content to share, organic marketing has the power to get better results than paid even more so if your product/service connects with the ideal customer/client and is visible at the right time to the right people.
